Why not join the Opus Collective? It's free! We're always interested in getting new members. If you like, you can drop in to our regular meetings at the Union Club Hotel in Carlton, Victoria, Australia. These are usually held the first Wednesday of each month and start at 7:30pm. It's probably best to check if it's on first by contacting a member. If you turn up and don't know which table is ours, ask at the bar to point out "Darren, the guy who drinks raspberry cordial"! The staff should be able to help you :) If you record your own music, you may be interested in contributing to our compilation albums. Typically, artists pay about $200 per track to finance the album and its promotion. Or maybe you just want to meet other musicians and listen to each other's music. This is how Opus began after like-minded souls met via the newsgroup aus.music.
