Welcome to the official home page of the Opus Collective, a collective of electronic artists in Melbourne Australia.

What's New

Domino Theory

We would like to invite you to our next gig and would especially appreciate your support in impressing the two independent record company reps that have confirmed their impending presence at the show! The details are below. If you've never been to the PONY, its a great venue - very chic and cool! There will be live music happening till about 3am, but our set is around 10pm. Music starts at 9pm. Filly's fill the Pony
Follow the spring carnival celebration pack this Friday from the track to the "PONY" - 68-70 Little Collins St - for Melbourne's best original music. The trifekta tip for the evening is "Mighty Boy" first out of the gates, with "Domino Theory" too close to call and "Atreyu" by a nose; headlining. Gates open 8.30pm: Take a $6 punt you can't lose. Bring your riding crop!
Let us know if you caught our unplugged show on Noise TV last Friday night. Tell us what you thought.

Xaeja has FINALLY released a *double* debut album and is frantically trying to organise some gigs to launch it. Details of the album can be found at www.xaeja.com and www.mp3.com.au/xaeja If you are in the area of Ashwood this Saturday 9th at 1:30pm, I'll be performing a 20 minute set (25 mins if there's enough people asking for an encore :) ) at the Ashwood Community Festival - Parkhill Primary School.

Radio Opus is at the mp3.com site. Go there to listen to entire tracks put up at mp3 by Opus artists.
Also, the members page has been updated with links to sites useful for home-recording artists and composers.
