| Title | Instrumentation | Duration | Year | Audio | Information |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Missa Prima | choir (SSAATTBB), 2 percussionists, soprano, contralto, synthesizer | 25 minutes | 2000 | Agnus Dei (studio version) | A Mass inspired by Orff, Fanshawe, Missa Luba, Bulgarian choir music,
Latin rhythms, and popular structures.
Conductor's score, vocal score, scores for individual instrumentalists,
and rehearsal CDs are available for purchase or hire.
The premier performance by ROCS in 2000 was of the entire work except for one movement. Will your choir be the first to perform the entire work?

| Lucky Person | choir (SATB), brass band or piano accompaniment | 2.5 minutes | 2002 |
A song inspired by Doris Day, and in the style of music from musicals in
the forties and fifties. If you like barbershop quartets and the Java Jive
you'll enjoy this one for its jazzy melody and musical humour.
The score has been written to cater for small choirs.
Conductor's score, vocal score, scores for individual instrumentalists,
and rehearsal CDs are available for purchase or hire.
The premier performance by ROCS and Brass'n'Things (RMIT Concert Band) in 2002.

| Plummet | SAB | 5 minutes | 2000 | An a cappella work that
sets four quotes containing the word "plummet" to music in a kind of
Rhondo form. The text is taken from Shakespeare, the bible, and Keats.
The style is influenced by popular, jazz and romantic
styles of music.
This was first performed by ROCS in 2000 at the RMIT Union Arts Fringe Festival event "Plummet".

| Sandra's Book of Rounds, Canons and Catches | Varous a cappella (2-8 voices) | Various | 1995-2005 | Logic Dictates snippet | Includes rounds, canons and catches from the beautiful to the silly to the bawdy.
Details about the round book are now available. |
| Chocophoria | Choir (SATBdiv) and piano acc. | 4 minutes | 2005 | A humorous piece about the effects of chocolate, first performed by ROCS in 2005 as part of their chocolate-themed set. As often happens with my choral pieces, the work has lots of interesting rhythms and is influenced by a lifetime of listening to popular music. | |
| Playing it Safe | piano | several pieces, 20 seconds to 3 minutes | 1986-1995 | A collection of simple piano pieces that are designed
to be less harmful to people suffering from repetition strain injuries.
The pieces have a minimum of chords, no staccato, very few repetitive
motifs. A couple of pieces are melodies for one hand. I can also
recommend pieces by other composers that are not too strenuous (eg. Bach,
Enya, Bartok).
