Opus Collective - 2003.

Today Opus has evolved into a non-profit, independent open community of electronic bands,
solo artists and DJs based in Melbourne Australia. Opus has been the launching pad of the
careers of many bands and artists who are aiming at major releases, as well as an outlet of
those artists who simply wish to share their music with the world.

Through the pooling of individual resources: be they financial, creative, technical or social,
the Collective’s aim is to assist its members in getting their music onto the Opus Collective
CDs and get the music onto the stage with regular live gigs in and around Melbourne.

The Collective meet once a month at various pubs and cafes in and around the inner suburbs of Melbourne. See the ' next meeting ' link in the menu above for details of when Opus Collective next get together. If you have a love of electronic music in any of its forms, we'd love to see you there.
